Stock photography or stocky photography?
Searching royalty-free photography websites can sometimes turn up some wonderful shots. There are some old and some new shots here. I was inspired by the main photo of the guy in the pale blue shirt eating which accompanied a story in the UK’s Guardian newspaper about obesity. I wonder if they guy read the paper and realised it was him in this candid shot? And more to the point, has he outgrown and replaced that shirt and those trousers?
You’ll get back where you started before long
This guy posted his photo as a “before” picture in a weight loss video on YouTube. Despite saying they want to lose weight, it amazes me that he’s not the first dieter I’ve seen that when you see them in “before” poses they seem so proud of their fat and enjoy it so much. I’m convinced that lots of men like getting fatter but it’s only societies expectations that encourage them to do something about it, or perhaps the belief that a future partner might prefer them slimmer. This guy is super handsome and just the right side of deliciously plump all over. Wonderful
Adam Johnson shot to fame in the uk this year with his brother Richard. He seems to have hit the gym and the buffet at he same time and is blowing up
More of Adam, some of which are the thinnest pics I can find as well as the fattest. There really is quite a contrast in just a short space of time. Sure, he’s hit the gym, but still I don’t know exercises you can do in the gym that make your face go so round…
